Apple bietet das iPhone 4 nun auch in Deutschland ohne Vertrag an. Das iPhone 4 kann demnach nun über den Apple Store werksfrei und ohne Vertrag erworben werden. Das iPhone 4 mit 16 GB Speicher kostet € 629,-, mit 32 GB kostet es € 739,-. Das iPhone 3G S mit 8GB Speicher wird ebenfalls angeboten und kostet € 519,-. Apple gibt das Versanddatum derzeit mit ca. zwei Wochen an. Das weiße Version des iPhone 4 ist weiterhin nicht erhältlich.
